Illustrated paper over boards have moderate scuffing and color loss along edges and spine and a bit of the underlying boards exposed at the corner tips. Light creasing to the paper and light pencil marks on the back cover. Small tears on crease of spine and mild fading to spine as well. Binding tight. Pages mildly toned with light overall spotting, creasing and faint soiling, but are otherwise unmarked. A charming illustrated children's book featuring color plates and black and white line drawings throughout. The story follows wooden toy soldiers who come to life and battle a little gray mouse robber who has crept into the cupboard, with a puppy joining the fray. Part of the Dotty and Dolly series.
