The addition of chopped bark within a bonsai soil mixture creates an open, free draining mix highly suitable for pines and junipers. This bark is chopped pine bark and is also suitable for use with Orchids, Japanese Hepatica and other woodland plants.Our chopped bark has a grain size of between 5mm and 12mm, making it also useful as a top dressing on plants and trees. It is supplied in 1 litre bags for convenient and cost effective use.Our soils are now provided in biodegradable bags with a recycled paper label.
